RACE CLASSES
KINGMAN RT. 66 STREET DRAGS
2026 Official Class Rules & Technical Guidelines
All competitors must comply with current NHRA safety regulations. Final class designation and rule interpretation rests solely with Event Technical Officials. Safety compliance is mandatory and non-negotiable.
No non-gas powered vehicles permitted during the 2026 event.
UNLIMITED
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Open to any Dragsters, Altered, Funny Cars, and full tube chassis door car. All engine combinations and power adders permitted..
CLASS TECH: Must pass NHRA tech inspection. Tech will classify what class your vehicle will be running in. SNELL 2015 or higher rated helmet is MANDATORY. Engine Diaper and or oil containment tray is MANDATORY.
JUNIOR DRAGSTERS
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Open to half scaled version of a top fuel dragster using a (5) five horsepower single cylinder engine for kids 5-17.
CLASS TECH: Must pass NHRA tech inspection. SNELL 2015 or higher rated helmet is MANDATORY. NO vehicle may exceed 7.90 - 1/8th mile per NHRA rules.
TRUCKS
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Open to all pickup trucks. Gas, Diesel, 2 Wheel or 4 Wheel Drive are all allowed. Note- El Camino or Ranchero type vehicles WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
CLASS TECH: Nitrous Oxide, turbocharger, blowers and Prochargers. Must pass NHRA tech inspection. Tech will classify what class your vehicle will be running in. SNELL 2015 or higher rated helmet is MANDATORY. Engine diaper and or oil containment tray MANDATORY. etc.).

HOD ROD I – (BOOSTED)
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Open to full bodied vehicles including cars, pickup trucks, street rods, muscle cars, mini trucks, etc. with moderate modifications (nothing more than back half modifications).
CLASS TECH: Blowers, turbochargers, Prochargers and nitrous will be allowed. Must pass NHRA tech inspection. Tech will classify what class your vehicle will be running in. SNELL 2015 or higher rated helmet is MANDATORY. Engine diapers and or oil containment tray is MANDATORY.
NO SLICKS. D.O.T. Legal Tires only.
HOT ROD 2 - (Naturally Aspirated)
CLASS DESCRITPTION: Open to vehicles with moderate modifications, full bodied vehicles, cars, trucks, street rods, muscle cars, mini trucks, etc. Nothing more than back half modifications.
CLASS TECH: No POWER ADDERS ALLOWED. Must pass NHRA tech inspection. Tech will classify what class your vehicle will be running in. SNELL 2015 or higher rated helmet is MANDATORY. Engine diaper and or oil containment tray is MANDATORY.
NO SLICKS! D.O.T. Legal Tires only.
PURE STREET
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Open to all daily driven vehicles with little or no modifications. Designed for factory muscle cars. Must be licensed and insured, registered and street legal.
CLASS TECH: Must pass NHRA tech inspection. Tech will classify what class your vehicle will be running in. SNELL 2015 or higher rated helmet is MANDATORY. Minor modifications are allowed. Cold air, exhaust, chip, turbo, or superchargers are allowed ONLY IF FACTORY INSTALLED AT TIME OF FIRST SALE. All vehicles must have an engine originally offered in THAT car for THAT year. Must meet general safety rules (i.e., neutral safety switch, good brakes, lug nuts, safety belts, etc.)
NO NITROUS OXIDE, NO MODIFICATION TO WHEEL WELL SIZE.

PRO STREET
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Class is open to all full-bodied vehicles. No center steer vehicles WILL BE ALLOWED.
CLASS TECH:
Must pass NHRA technical inspection, Final class designation determined by Event Technical Officials, SNELL 2015 or newer helmet required, Engine diaper and/or oil containment tray required, Back-half modifications permitted (rear section only), Firewall must remain in stock location,Slicks permitted.
GRUDGE
Class Description: FOR FUN-BRAGGING RIGHTS ONLY! Open to any vehicle that do not qualify for Eliminations. This allows anyone to choose anyone heads up! And race against anyone they call out. Grudge class runs will not count as qualifying timed run. SNELL Helmet 2015 or higher rated MANDATORY
MOTORCYLCE CLASS:
SFI Spec 40.1/1 or 40.1/2 suit OR leather jacket mandatory for all motorcycles slower than 120 mph. Full all-leathers or SFI Spec 40.1/2-suit mandatory for riders of motorcycles running 120 mph or faster. Leather boots/shoes above the ankle, and leather gloves are mandatory on ALL motorcycles. All protective clothing must be in good condition with no visible signs of wear, tears, or fraying. SNELL Helmet 2015 or higher rated MANDATORY. ***This is a trophy only Class unless we have 12 or more racers sign up and run.
